چکیده
Summary Aortic valve stenosis (AS) is predominantly caused by degenerative calcification in patients over 70 years. It obstructs the left ventricular outflow tract. The result concentric hypertrophy (LVH) wall stress and ischemia-induced myocardial fibrosis. [1] According to European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery, all high-grade AS are indicated for intervention [2]. One most recommendable methods protection during surgical aortic replacement antegrade delivery cold crystalloid cardioplegia. Our retrospective study included 173 operated with LVH. We observed MB fraction enzyme creatine phosphokinase (CPK-MB) as a postoperative marker hypoprotection different patients. results showed that single dose modified Bretschnaider solution provided safe long enough conventional minimally invasive LVH [3].

Left ventricular hypertrophy in aortic valve stenosis: friend or foe?
Concentric remodelling (reduction of the diameter/thickness ratio) and hypertrophy (increase of massdleft ventricular hypertrophy; LVH) have been classically interpreted as the physiological mechanisms used by the left ventricle to compensate for chronic pressure overload. At the cellular level, increasing the number of contractile elements improves contractile force. At the organ level, a thic...

AIM It was the aim of our study to determine whether myocardial fibrosis influences physiologic or non-physiologic left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy in severe aortic stenosis. METHODS Myocardial fibrosis was evaluated using specimens taken from the ventricular septum in 79 patients submitted to aortic valve replacement because of symptomatic aortic stenosis. Patients were considered to have p...

Abstract Background: Iatrogenic airway injury after endotracheal intubation and tracheotomy remains a serious clinical problem. In this study we reviewed post-intubation and traumatic tracheal stenosis in 47 patients with a special attention to the cause, hense surgical treatment of the stenosis was performed and the results compared with the literatures. Methods: Since February 1995 th...
